Facts
On 26 September 2006, the Appellant was convicted of murder after a trial before a judge and jury in the Supreme Court of the Bahamas. On 20 September 2007, he was sentenced to death. On 25 June 2009, the Court of Appeal quashed the Appellant's conviction for murder and substituted a conviction for manslaughter, imposing a sentence of 50 years' imprisonment. The Appellant now appeals to the Board against that sentence.
